About Us

The St Agnes Chapter of the Daughters of the King was chartered at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in 1963.  There were 7 members at that time.  At present we have 37 members pledged to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism.

We meet monthly for a Eucharistic service, intercessory prayers, and an educational program.

At the present, our largest field of service is in providing a reception following the funeral of parishioners. Each member chooses her field or fields of service.   Among those are Altar Guild, Acolytes, Healing Ministry, Lay Eucharistic Ministry, St Therese's Flower Guild, sending cards of remembrance following the death of parishioners.

In addition, the Chapter has provided financial contributions to various community organizations as well as on-site service to the Hospitality House of Methodist Medical Center.
