The Hospitality house is in desperate need of bed linens for twin and queen sized beds.  Bathroom and kitchen towels are also needed.   Jackie will set up a basket of r donations of towels and linens.  Beige and Williamsburg blue.

PROGRAM:  Rev Dr. Stephen Damos spoke to us on the life of Martin Luther.  Luther was born in Germany in 1483.  He was a Christian theologian and Augustinian monk whose teachings inspired the Protestant Reformation.  Luther was a man who struggled to find peace w/God and practiced constant confession, a lot of it on his knees.  He taught that salvation is a gift of God's grace.  He translated the Guttenberg Bible in German for the common people.  Luther also branded the papacy as anti-Christ, was bitter against the Turks, Jews and Protestant opponents.  He was a very complicated man.

Jackie gave a short report on the DOK problem at the National level which involves the split between TEC and the new Anglican movement.

Members closed with the Mizpah benediction.

Respectfully submitted,

Mariann Cathey, Secretary
